With five bedrooms, two bathrooms, and expansive spaces indoors and out, it’s the perfect setting for extended summer stays that become traditions. The Pines is well suited to families, couples, and small groups looking to settle in and live by the water for a while.

Set among tall pines with its own rare sandy shoreline, The Pines offers both privacy and space — a retreat where families can gather, children can play freely, and everyone finds room to rest. Located on the north shore of Parry Sound, part of the world-famous Georgian Bay, it’s a cottage that feels secluded yet welcoming, timeless yet comfortable.

With five bedrooms and two bathrooms, the cottage was designed for connection. Expansive indoor and outdoor spaces invite shared meals, laughter around the fire pit, and long afternoons drifting between dock, beach, and raft.

Inside, modern comforts are thoughtfully chosen: a new professional gas stove that makes cooking a joy, a high-end BBQ for casual lakeside meals, a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed for longer stays, and the practical convenience of Wi-Fi, washer, and dryer.

The cottage faces southwest, giving it a rare gift: sunshine across the beach and dock all day, followed by breathtaking sunsets that pour gold across the water each evening. Whether you’re dining outdoors, relaxing in one of the Muskoka chairs, or watching children wade at the shoreline, the rhythm of light becomes part of the experience.

What makes The Pines truly unique is its atmosphere. Playfulness and stillness coexist here: the bocce pit and basketball net invite friendly competition, while the treehouse studio tucked among the pines offers space for yoga, meditation, or quiet reflection. This is a place that doesn’t just host your summer — it shapes it, weaving together comfort, nature, and connection in a way that lingers long after you leave.

The Pines is best experienced as a place to settle in — where days unfold slowly, routines form, and the cottage becomes your base for the duration of the stay.

1 canoe, 1 single kayak, 1 double kayak, 1 paddle board, 1 peddle boat, floating tubes & raft, bocce ball pit, horseshoe set, Basketball net, fire pit on beach (small amount of wood is provided for your first few fires. Additional bundles can be purchased), swing, 14-foot aluminum fishing boat with oars. Paddles are provided for each watercraft. Guests are encouraged to bring their own life jackets to ensure the best fit and condition; a limited selection is available if needed.

Cottage and Booking Details:

Minimum stay: 30 nights
Check-in / Check-out: 4:00–10:00 PM check-in / 10:00 AM check-out
Maximum guests: 10
Pets: Allowed with prior approval (maximum 2). $500 per pet, per stay. Service animals stay free.
Smoking: Not permitted indoors.
Events: Not permitted.

Booking and Payment Policy:

To confirm your reservation, a deposit or full payment is required based on how far in advance the booking is made:

181 days or more before arrival

A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking.
The remaining 50% is due 180 days prior to arrival.

180 days or fewer before arrival

Full payment (100%) is due at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as accommodating as possible while protecting availability for extended-stay guests.

180 days or more before arrival
Your deposit is refundable, less any fees associated with the payment method.

179 days or fewer before arrival
Because extended stays require long-term availability, the Booking Rate becomes non-refundable.

If Blind Bay Pines must cancel
Should we need to cancel for any unforeseen reason, all amounts paid — including your deposit and Booking Rate — will be fully refunded.

We strongly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.

Payment Fees:

Credit Card: A service fee of 3.9% applies to credit card payments.
Wire Transfer: A $20 CAD service fee applies per wire.
Interac e-Transfer (Canadian bank accounts): No service fee.
Wise: Fees are set by Wise and vary based on currency and funding method.

Please note that any third-party processing fees are non-refundable.

Security Deposit:

A $3,500 CAD security deposit is required. This amount is fully refundable after your stay, provided there is no damage, loss, or breach of rental terms. A hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 1 day before arrival and automatically released within 3 days after check-out.

Can be arranged in advance or on site.

Because it’s wood-burning, we prepare and tend each session. Guests can choose how often they’d like to enjoy it during their stay. Price includes wood and setup. Each session is 60 minutes. A waiver of liability will need to signed by each person who will use the sauna.

Stays at The Pines are structured for longer, settle-in experiences. Pricing is seasonal and based on the length of stay rather than nightly turnover. Professional cleaning, mid-stay cleaning, and linens are included.

• Typical 30-night stays: approximately $33,120 total CAD (approximately $27,000 USD total).

Stays are designed for extended use of the property and a slower, seasonal rhythm.

Special Offering

For guests seeking additional space or privacy, The Barn — located next door — can be rented alongside The Pines. Booking both cottages together in July or August offers the rare opportunity to enjoy the entire property. Combined-stay pricing available upon request.
